Age Requirements:You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent, guardian, or authorized school official to create an account. We comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) using the school consent model.

Our Property:Montessori Notes owns all rights to the platform's software, design, interface, features, and branding. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Your Content: You retain full ownership of all content you create within Montessori Notes, including:
License Grant: By using Montessori Notes, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We will never use your content for marketing, training AI models, or any purpose beyond service delivery.
Montessori Notes is a record-keeping tool, not an album or methodology repository. We deeply respect the intellectual property of Montessori training organizations (AMI, AMS, MACTE, etc.).
What we provide:Lesson names and curriculum structure (e.g., “Pink Tower”, “Sensorial”) for reference only.
What we do NOT store:Detailed presentations, album methodology, or “how-to” instructions. Users are responsible for consulting their own albums and training materials.
Prohibited Use: Do not use Montessori Notes to store or share copyrighted Montessori album content, training materials, or proprietary methodology from AMI, AMS, or other training programs.
Trademark:“Montessori Notes” and our butterfly logo are trademarks of Montessori Notes. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.
Free Tier: Our Free tier is completely free forever. No credit card required. No hidden fees.
Premium Tier: Premium features (when available) will include PDF export, color customization, smart plans, reports, calendar tracking, notifications, observations, grouping, and advanced search.
Pricing: Premium pricing will be announced when the feature launches. We will provide 30 days advance notice before any charges begin.
Payment Methods: We will accept major credit cards via Stripe. Payment information is securely processed and never stored on our servers.
Refund Policy: We will offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on Premium subscriptions.
Cancellation: You will be able to cancel Premium subscriptions at any time from your account settings.
Uptime Commitment: We strive for 99.5% uptime availability. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for downtime due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control.
Maintenance Windows: We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
Feature Modifications: We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at our discretion. We will notify users of significant changes that affect core functionality.

Your Right to Terminate: You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. All data will be deleted within 30 days of account closure, unless you request immediate deletion.

Educational Tool Disclaimer: Montessori Notes is a record-keeping and planning tool. It is NOT a replacement for professional Montessori training, a source of pedagogical advice, a substitute for teacher judgment, or a diagnostic tool for learning disabilities.
Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MONTESSORI NOTES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE.
Maximum Liability Cap: Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Montessori Notes from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or fees arising from:
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and applicable state laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
